* A calendar. Turn it on from the clock's menu: the month under the time, in
the clock's own colour and font, week starting Sunday or Monday, arrows to
page through it, today marked. In portrait it takes the place of the date.
* A saying along the bottom - one a day, touch it for another. 6,678 of them
from three 19th-century collections, all public domain. It takes its own font
and decoration like every other line.
