The sayings in `src/android/res/raw/quotes.txt` are not covered by the
licence above, because they are older than any licence. They come from three
nineteenth-century collections:

Clouston, W. A., comp. Book of Wise Sayings: Selected Largely from
Eastern Sources. London: Hutchinson & Co., 1893.
        Transcription: Project Gutenberg ebook 21130.

[Preston, Thomas], comp. A Dictionary of English Proverbs and
Proverbial Phrases, with a Copious Index of Principal Words.
London: Whittaker & Co., [n.d.]. The title page names neither
author nor year; the attribution to Preston is Project
Gutenberg's. Transcription: Project Gutenberg ebook 39281.

Bohn, Henry G., comp. A Polyglot of Foreign Proverbs. London:
        Henry G. Bohn, 1857.
        Transcription: Project Gutenberg ebook 51090.

All three were published before 1900 and their compilers are long dead, so
both the texts and the compilations are in the public domain worldwide by
age. Project Gutenberg's own header, footer and licence have been removed
and its trademark is not used, so nothing in this repository is subject to
the Project Gutenberg Licence. What remains is the public-domain text
itself, which anyone may use for any purpose.
