Privacy Policy for Boardgame Pal

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Boardgame Pal ("the app") is a collection of offline utility tools for board game nights (starting player selection, team assignment, dice, coin toss, score board, hourglass timer).

No data collection

Boardgame Pal does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, usage data, or device identifiers. The app:

• does not require an account or sign-in,
• does not connect to the internet or any server,
• does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs,
• does not request access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, or storage.

Local storage

The app saves some data locally on your device so it survives closing and reopening the app:

• App preferences (selected theme, selected language, hourglass alarm sound),
• Score board data (player names and point history).

This data is stored only on your device using Android's standard local storage mechanisms (SharedPreferences / DataStore). It never leaves your device, is never transmitted to us or any third party, and is deleted when you uninstall the app. All other data used within the app (e.g. dice results, coin toss results, starting-player selection) exists only in memory while the app is open and is not persisted at all.
