Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 8, 2026

Introduction

Health Disconnect ("the app") is an open-source Android application that lets you view your personal health data from Android Health Connect as charts and home screen widgets. This policy explains how the app handles your data.

Data Collection

Health Disconnect does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data outside your device. The app contains no internet permission and cannot connect to any server, analytics service, or third party.

Health Connect Data

The app reads health and fitness data from Android Health Connect solely to display it to you in charts and widgets. This data is:

The app requests read-only access to Health Connect data types. It never writes data to Health Connect.

User-Initiated Sharing

You may choose to export data as CSV files or share chart images using the Android share sheet. When you do so, the app displays a warning before any data leaves the app. The destination of shared data is determined by the app you choose in the share sheet and is governed by that app's privacy policy.

Data Storage

The app stores your chart configuration and cached health data in a local database within the app's private storage directory. This data is accessible only to the app and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data through Android settings.

Third-Party Services

Health Disconnect does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

Updates to this policy will be posted on this page with a revised date. Because the app has no network access, policy changes cannot be pushed to users — please check this page periodically.
