On Android 7 (Nougat) and newer versions, you can load plain text files into a note. Either create a new note or open an existing one; if you import a file into an existing note the file’s content will be inserted at the cursor position. Click on the “Details…” button, then click “Import Note…”. Choose the file you want to insert. If successful, the file’s content will be added into the note editor.
