The Japanese 12-key flick pad joins, flick-only: tap for the a-column
kana, flick for i u e o, with the same drag and hold guide the Korean
Cheonjiin pad uses. The mark key turns the character before the cursor
along its cycle - ka to ga, ha through ba to pa, tsu to the small tsu -
and the wa key carries wo, n and the long-vowel bar on its flicks. The
layout key's three-letter captions now drop the arrow and go bold.
